The South Korean military said a North Korean personnel waded southward downstream of the Han River, with no response from the North.

Jin10 reported on August 7, local time, that according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, the South Korean military discovered a North Korean individual crossing southward in the Han River downstream on July 31. The South Korean military subsequently monitored and controlled the individual, who has since been handed over to the relevant authorities. The South Korean military stated that there were no unusual movements from the North Korean side. There has been no response from North Korea regarding this matter.
