Pantera Capital CEO revealed the cryptocurrency he trusts the most.

Dan Morehead, the founder and CEO of Pantera Capital, known for its crypto funds, expressed their confidence in Solana. Appearing on CNBC, one of the largest economic channels in the US, Morehead stated that Pantera has a $1.1 billion position in Solana.

As is known, the company makes its Solana investments through a firm called Helius Technologies. The Helius company announced yesterday that it raised 500 million dollars from investors led by Pantera for the Solana treasury.

"Solana has surpassed Bitcoin"

Morehead stated that Solana is the "fastest, cheapest, and most performant blockchain" and that it has performed even better than Bitcoin in the last 4 years.

"In the past, we were mostly serving institutional investors, but now, thanks to companies like Helius, individuals can also easily make these investments. It’s enough for them to just buy company shares, because this company will only hold Solana. That’s it… Investors can also benefit from Solana’s staking rewards. Normally, staking seems complex to people, but we are doing that now as well. Solana is positioned as the fastest, cheapest, and most performant blockchain... It has performed even better than Bitcoin in the last 4 years."

"Bitcoin will go to 750 thousand"

Pantera CEO, who stated that Bitcoin will reach 750 thousand dollars in the next 4-5 years, said, "It will also exceed 1 million dollars, but I think it will take longer... Still, in the coming period, very few first-layer blockchains will remain. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana will lead the way. Bitcoin aims to replace digital gold, while Ripple wants to take the place of Swift. Bitcoin has grown about 2 times annually over the last 12 years. I believe this trend will continue."
