Anon World, das auf dem Farcaster-Protokoll aufbaut, erweitert Patels früheres Projekt Anoncast und führt eine Benutzeroberfläche ähnlich wie Reddit ein, um Community-getriebene Diskussionen zu fördern und gleichzeitig die Anonymität der Benutzer zu wahren. Das Kernstück der Plattformarchitektur ist die obligatorische Verwendung von Nachweisen basierend auf Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK), die lokal im Browser des Benutzers gespeichert werden und keine Metadaten oder Wallet-Informationen sammeln. Dies bedeutet, dass Benutzer bestimmte ERC20-Token besitzen müssen, um Beiträge veröffentlichen zu können. Die Plattform unterstützt zunächst ERC20-Token im Basisnetzwerk, plant jedoch die Erweiterung zur Unterstützung anderer Blockkettennetzwerke und Nachweistypen.
