FTX and K5 Global reach a settlement
On January 31st, PANews reported that FTX Trading Ltd. (FTX.com) and FTX Recovery Trust announced a settlement with venture capital firm K5 Global to resolve the lawsuit filed by FTX in June 2024. FTX said that both parties will work together to maximize the recovery for FTX stakeholders. The Chapter 11 reorganization plan approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for FTX took effect on January 3, 2025, with the initial distribution expected to be completed within 60 days.
