According to TechCrunch, Microsoft's President Brad Smith stated at a Senate hearing that due to data security and advertising content risks, Microsoft prohibits employees from using the DeepSeek application service and has not listed it in the app store. Smith also revealed that Microsoft had made "modifications" to the DeepSeek model to remove potentially harmful content.
