At the same time, the Democratic Republic of Congo is seeking a key mineral deal with the United States. Massad Boulos, a Lebanese-born businessman, was appointed Trump’s senior adviser on Arab affairs in December, and his son, Michael, is married to Trump’s daughter, Tiffany.
