Liquidation Surpasses US$600 Million as Bitcoin Reverts to US$103 Thousand The crypto market has experienced a liquidation of US$635 million or equivalent to Rp10.4 trillion, after Bitcoin (BTC) reached US$107 thousand, on Monday (19/05) morning. Interestingly, the losses were predominantly incurred by traders taking long positions, especially on Ethereum (ETH), with total losses reaching US$244 million. Meanwhile, the liquidation amount for Bitcoin itself was only at US$157 million. Overall, this liquidation was experienced by around 150,794 traders. Long traders were recorded liquidated at US$394 million, while short traders at US$227 million. The exchange that contributed the largest liquidation is owned by Ben Zhou with US$216 million. Next is CZ with US$161 million, followed by Star Xu with US$85 million. If you followed the trading live last night, you should be safe with a profit of 2000 to 2500 points.
