The 6 micro-cap AI crypto projects that could take off in 2025

Being a successful crypto trader involves knowing the dominant narrative. Right now, AI is still the star.

The sector has evolved quite a bit lately. Impressive advances. Increasingly practical applications. AI-linked cryptos have performed well in 2025, despite some volatility. The microcaps market fell by 14.39% in the first quarter. It is no small thing.

AI crypto projects use artificial intelligence to create products that make various sectors more efficient. It seems they are finding their place.

I have researched tons of projects. Market value, utility, community… everything matters. Investors too.

Here I share my 5 favorite microcaps (less than $100 million, most below $50 million) and a project that is about to launch. Let's go.

1. Covalent ($CQT)

My number one for a clear reason: backing from important investors. Huge potential.

Covalent brings together information from all over. Nodes, chains, data… All to make sense of billions of data points. Useful for investors and developers. Deep and historical blockchain data through an open protocol.

$CQT is an ERC-20 token. Maximum supply: 1,000,000,000. It serves for governance, staking, and access to the network.

Right now it is worth about $75 million. Not bad.

2. Measurable Data Token ($MDT)

It has existed since 2014. It has bounced strongly with the recent push from AI.

It is a decentralized system for exchanging data. It seeks to create a blockchain data economy where everyone can exchange information securely and anonymously.

Your token $MDT is ERC-20. Maximum supply: 1,000,000,000.

3. Vaiot ($VAI)

It develops AI assistants and blockchain smart contracts. Automate services and transactions. With AI spreading everywhere, these virtual assistants will be crucial.

It was born in 2018 in Malta. Collaborates with IBM.

Its low market capitalization and the AI boom make it interesting. Risky too, of course.

5. Big Data Protocol ($BDP)

Very small. Only $11 million in capitalization.

Platform for sharing business data. Uses DeFi to tokenize professional data and make it liquid. This data has value because institutions and companies buy it for analysis.

$BDP es an ERC-20 token. Maximum supply: 80,000,000. Governance token.

As $DBC, it could give a lot of money. Or be lost in oblivion.

6. AIPad ($AIPAD)

This has not been released yet. Upcoming release.

It is an incubator for new AI crypto projects. Large AI companies are often private. Small investors cannot participate. AI blockchain projects are monopolized by venture capital. Once again, the small investor is left out.

AIPad wants to democratize these opportunities. Make them accessible to everyone.

We have seen 5 AI microcaps and a project about to launch. They will likely reach new highs in the next wave of AI.

Note: microcaps are risky. Their price is easy to manipulate. Nothing goes up forever.

Small companies ( between $50-$300 million ) have problems: low liquidity, high volatility. Less regulation than large ones. More risk.

When enthusiasm for AI returns, these coins will rise like wildfire. When cooled, they will plummet.

They are not for holding for years. Buy them cheap, take advantage of the rise, and sell before they crash. That's how this works.
