Interesting snapshot from December 7th's chain metrics — when you line up Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Dogecoin side by side, the active address distribution tells a compelling story.

Across these four networks, we're looking at 430,364 combined active addresses. Here's where it gets noteworthy: Litecoin commands a striking 254,612 of those, translating to 59.2% of the total pool. That's more than half the activity happening on LTC rails.

Bitcoin, despite its dominant market cap position, accounts for 114,597 active addresses — roughly 26.6% of the combined figure. Dogecoin follows with 38,768 addresses (9.0%), while Bitcoin Cash trails at 22,387 (5.2%).

The standout observation? Litecoin's on-chain activity significantly outpaces its market cap ranking. While BTC holds the valuation crown, LTC is clearly winning the active address race by a considerable margin. This divergence between market cap hierarchy and actual network usage patterns raises questions about how we measure "adoption" versus "valuation" in crypto markets.

Worth watching whether this activity gap narrows or widens as we head into year-end.
BTC-0.93%
LTC0.55%
DOGE0.68%

Damn, is Litecoin really this powerful? 59% active addresses directly crushing BTC.

LTC active addresses account for 59%? This data is pretty wild. Bitcoin is number one in market cap, yet it's getting crushed in terms of user activity.

This data for LTC is outrageous; its activity level beats BTC? I don't quite believe it—I need to see how it's calculated.

Oh wow, LTC's active address ratio just skyrocketed, 59.2% is honestly insane. BTC, the market cap king, only accounts for 26.6%. This is what you call a nominal leader with real power elsewhere. The ones actually doing things on-chain and those just speculating are two completely different groups. Let's see if this gap can narrow by the end of the year.

Are LTC active addresses really this impressive? There are actually more than BTC. This data is quite interesting.
