Everyone's obsessed with getting wealthy. Everyone wants to fund the next big shot.

Not me though. I'm nobody special—just another Web3 developer grinding in the trenches.

Here's the thing: when the market tanks, people start pointing fingers at us devs. They're furious, they're looking for someone to blame. But honestly? I hold next to nothing. Seriously.

I didn't get into this space to become a billionaire or chase some life-changing wealth. That's not the game I'm playing. I showed up because I wanted to build something, solve problems, maybe learn a few things along the way.

My real goal is way more basic—I'm just trying to pay for school. That's genuinely it. The tuition bills don't care about token prices or bull markets. They show up regardless.

So when people assume developers are sitting on massive bags waiting to pump and dump? That's not the reality for a lot of us. We're just here working, trying to stay afloat.

To be honest, this is the most authentic portrayal of Web3, as most people have been brainwashed by the media.

Really, most developers are just trying to survive, not pursuing any grand dreams.

Hey, you're right. Many developers really do have a gig worker mentality.

Honestly, I've heard this brother's story too many times, really. But to be fair, I still respect the fact that he works hard for tuition fees. He's much more honest than those who spend all day bragging about their holdings.

Really, too many people demonize developers. Honestly, paying tuition is much harder than the coin price. This is the current state of Web3—everyone is thinking about getting rich, no one wants to hear why you're in it.

Bro, that really hits home, for sure. --- Most people only see the coins going up or down, no one cares if you're actually building something. --- I have deep feelings about the tuition fee part. --- Alright, anyway, it's easiest to shift the blame to developers; it's much more comfortable than self-reflection. --- That's incredible. I just want to survive, not seek financial freedom. --- That's the truth, but no one believes it. --- Well said, but unfortunately, it's still us who are really working who get criticized.

On-chain data shows that this kind of narrative is quite common... Most developers indeed do not hoard tokens. From my observation, it is actually those self-media outlets that are creating the hype. The clues can be seen in contract change monitoring. Unsurprisingly, the loudest accusations come when the market is falling. It is worth noting that, based on the code, those who are truly building don't have time to worry about the price... This is the key difference. --- During late-night deployments, I've seen many such cases—those who shout the loudest are often the ones who haven't touched the code. The interesting part is that, based on past experience, such accusations usually stem from the anxiety of token holders themselves. --- My observation: Those who can calmly write contracts are fundamentally not swayed by market sentiment... This is the difference.

Really, most people think too much; devs are just trying to make a living.

Stop talking nonsense, most developers are indeed just scamming users.
