Just looked at Pakistan's currency history and it's honestly wild. Back in 1947 when the country was founded, 1 dollar to pkr in 1947 was just 3.31 rupees. Stable for like 8 years straight.

Then things started moving. By the mid-50s it crept up to 3.91, then 4.76 through the 60s. But the real story? The 1970s hit different - jumped to 11 PKR. After that it was basically a one-way street down.

Fast forward to 2000 and you're looking at 51.90. By 2008 it was 81. Then 2019 came and boom - 163.75. That's when things got rough. Last few years? 240 in 2022, 286 in 2023, now sitting around 277.

So basically the rupee lost like 99% of its value in 75 years. That's what happens with inflation, economic instability, and constant currency pressure. Pretty insane when you put it in perspective like this.
