The 2026 F1 season has already started, and there's quite a bit of movement. We just finished with Australia, and now an intense month is coming with races almost every weekend. What catches my attention the most is that this year there are a total of 24 GPs, ending in December in Abu Dhabi. The calendar is quite ambitious.
Many people are wondering what time the Saudi Arabian GP is because it falls in the middle of the season, and honestly, the schedules for Argentina are strange. That weekend, it airs on April 19 at 2:00 PM our time, so at least it's not in the early morning like others. Before, it was China (4 in the morning, uff), Japan, and Bahrain.
What has changed a lot is the technology. The engines now have 50% electric power, nothing like in previous years. The cars are lighter, smaller, and have those wings that open and close automatically as needed. That supposedly helps with overtaking. Also, fuels are 100% sustainable. Red Bull merged with Ford and will have its own engine for the first time. Mercedes remains a supplier for several teams. Audi entered as a new manufacturer with its own team.
The drivers also have interesting changes. Lewis Hamilton is in Ferrari with Leclerc, Carlos Sainz is in Williams, Fernando Alonso remains at Aston Martin. The grid is quite competitive now. In Argentina, you can watch everything on Fox Sports, Flow, DGO, or Disney+ Premium if you want to follow race by race. It’s going to be an exciting season.
