Flare CEO Unveils Game-Changing Product For XRP

According to an X post, Flare CEO Hugo Philion has revealed an incoming surge in on-chain metrics for XRP. Per the post, Firelight’s product is showing potential in deploying “billions” of XRP to work on Flare.

I spent much of the last week in the US with the Firelight team.

This product is hugely innovative and has the potential to put BILLIONS if not 10’s of BILLIONS of XRP to work -> on Flare.

Firelight’s product supports yield generation with XRP via an institutional-grade framework in a push toward DeFi functionalities. A key part of the Firelight offering is that the yield generated on the platform will be rolled back into the XRP ecosystem.

Firelight, built on the Flare Network, supports liquid staking for XRP, allowing token holders to earn yield. The product leans on Flare’s FAssets infrastructure, with Philion predicting that billions of XRP will be staked.

Flare Network received a $100M XRP investment from VivoPower to pursue its DeFi offerings for the network.
