South Korea launches stablecoin ATMs for foreign tourists
[South Korea Launches Stablecoin ATM Machines for Foreign Tourists] According to Decrypt, South Korean blockchain company DaWinKS has collaborated with the KaiaDLT Foundation to launch stablecoin ATMs that support cash exchange for USDT. These ATMs allow cash withdrawals of USDT issued on the Kaia blockchain and are currently operational in various tourist and retail locations. The ATM is only available for users holding foreign passports and supports exchanges for 85 types of fiat or deposits to local transportation cards. This project operates under the "Regulatory Sandbox" framework in South Korea and is not open to local residents.
