According to French state media France24, on May 13, three masked men attacked Noizette's daughter and a male companion in the 11th arrondissement of Paris while she was out walking with her son. The assailants attempted to force Noizette's daughter and her son into a waiting van.
The police stated that the male companion who was with them was attacked when he tried to intervene, but Noizate's daughter fought back and managed to snatch a gun from one of the attackers during the struggle and threw it away.
