French election enters the final two days countdown, Macron's support rate takes a nosedive

June 28, Golden Data News, French President Emmanuel Macron's satisfaction rating has fallen to the freezing point in three months, giving a helping hand to the far-right National Union Party represented by Marine Le Pen, just two days before the parliamentary elections. A survey conducted by Toluna-Harris Interactive for LCI TV showed that Macron's support rate dropped by 6 percentage points to 36%, the worst since March. Another poll showed that the National Union is expected to become the largest party in the lower house of parliament. On Friday, the yield on France's 10-year government bond rose by 6 basis points to 3.33%, reaching its highest level since November last year.
