BlockBeats reported that on August 4, Lido co-founder Vasiliy Shapovalov announced the difficult decision to reduce the workforce by approximately 15% at Lido Labs, Lido Ecosystem, and Lido Alliance due to cost considerations. This adjustment is not due to performance issues, and those affected are important members who have deeply participated in the protocol and community building. Shapovalov stated that although the market is currently in a rising phase, this decision reflects a commitment to long-term resilience and sustainable growth, aimed at focusing on operational priorities, optimizing resource allocation, and aligning with the interests of LDO holders.
