The Federal Reserve Board of Governors nominee Milan has not discussed long-term term issues with the White House.

According to ChainCatcher news and Jin10 reports, Stephen Moore, the candidate for the Fed nominated by President Trump, stated that he has not discussed with anyone in the White House about possibly obtaining a nomination for a long-term position. Moore has informed senators that he would only resign from his current position as a White House economic advisor if he receives a nomination for a long-term position. During the nomination hearing, Democratic senators expressed concerns about his refusal to resign, believing it could lead to pressure from Trump in interest rate voting. Moore denied this.
