A U.S. district judge ruled that Trump's deployment of troops in Los Angeles violated federal law.
Jin10 data reported on September 2 that U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer ruled that Trump violated federal law by deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles in response to protests against his immigration crackdown. Judge Breyer issued an order on Tuesday prohibiting the use of troops deployed in California and any other military forces in the state to "enforce the law." However, he stayed the execution of the ruling pending further legal proceedings. Breyer wrote in the ruling: "Protests did occur in Los Angeles, and some individuals engaged in violent behavior. However, there was no insurrection locally, and local law enforcement is fully capable of handling protests and enforcing the law."
