In the Web3 space, the main challenge faced by growth teams is not the lack of complex metrics, but rather how to efficiently conduct experiments and quickly validate which interaction methods can better retain users. Traditional A/B testing methods often require cumbersome tracking setups or delegating data to third parties, which not only increases the workload but may also pose privacy risks.

Imagine if WalletConnect could support privacy-friendly experimental sharding and aggregation metrics at the session level, what kind of transformation would that bring? DApp developers could design different authorization processes, with nodes responsible for grouping and summarizing differentiated conversion rates according to rules, and providing anonymized results back to developers. This process would neither expose user identities nor require handing over raw data to external companies for processing.

The potential of this innovative approach is mainly reflected in three aspects:

First, it can significantly reduce iteration costs. Developers do not need to write tracking points for each wallet separately, but can experiment directly within the connection protocol, thereby saving valuable time and resources.

Secondly, it provides protection for user privacy. By employing differential privacy or aggregate reporting techniques, it can analyze conversion effects without leaking personal behavior data.

Finally, it helps to build a win-win ecosystem. The $WCT token can be used to subsidize experimental traffic, reward nodes that contribute to anonymous statistics, or serve as a settlement unit for premium analytics services, creating a clear return mechanism for high-quality data.

Of course, during the implementation process, we need to ensure the transparency and auditability of the experimental diversion rules to prevent A/B testing from being misused for opaque operations. At the same time, the community should establish appropriate limits and privacy protection thresholds.

Overall, decentralizing the 'trial and error' ability to the connection layer will give more small teams the confidence to quickly optimize their product experience, rather than relying solely on guesswork. If WalletConnect can develop this functionality into a standardized SDK, it will undoubtedly greatly enhance developers' ability and confidence to optimize products, thereby promoting the development of the entire Web3 ecosystem.
