GEAR! What kind of confusion is this? I'm fed up with these acronyms that only complicate our lives! For those who don't know ( I barely knew until yesterday ), GEAR is that postal department that takes care of taxing our packages. Revenue and Information Activities Management - or as I call it: "the department that empties my wallet when I buy something from abroad."

I received a letter from them the other day! The date is already overdue, of course, because efficiency is not their strong suit. Now I have to pay an outrageous fee to receive a little package that isn't even worth the price of the tax. It's infuriating how these things work here in Brazil!

I have tried to call to complain, but it's easier to talk to aliens than to get clear information from these agencies. And the most incredible part? There are even scams using their name! They receive fake correspondence as if it were from the Federal Revenue - as if the real problem wasn't enough!

Meanwhile, my order is just sitting there waiting for me to shell out an absurd amount. The e-PTA (another bureaucratic system) doesn't even work properly when I try to access it. It's enough to drive any citizen crazy!

If only they were as transparent and efficient as some private services... but no, they prefer to complicate our lives with endless bureaucracies. And then they complain when people look for alternatives!

I will have to pay, of course. There's no way around it. But let my protest against this outdated system that only serves to complicate the life of the ordinary taxpayer be recorded!
