In the Web3 space, 'Decentralization' is often mentioned, but the DAO governance of many projects tends to be performative. However, Holoworld's governance mechanism is noteworthy as it deeply embeds governance into the core structure of the White Paper and proposes some innovative attempts.
The governance goal of Holoworld is not simply 'everyone votes', but rather to pursue 'behavior-oriented co-governance'. This model differs from the traditional pure DAO structure and leans towards a 'structured co-governance' model. The conditions for participating in decision-making include holding HOLO tokens, being an active creator, or deploying Agents, using Studio, incubating projects, etc., within the ecosystem. This design links governance power with the depth of participation, ensuring that the weight of decision-making is proportional to the level of contribution.
It is worth noting that this governance structure has been attempted in NFT and Rollup architectures, but this is the first time in an AI project. Holoworld's White Paper clearly outlines three types of governance modules, showcasing its emphasis on community co-construction.
This innovative governance model not only reflects Holoworld's pursuit of genuine co-construction but also provides new ideas for the decentralized governance of AI projects. It avoids hollow democratic appearances and instead allocates decision-making power through actual participation and contributions, with the hope of promoting project development while ensuring the true representation of community interests.
With the deep integration of AI technology and blockchain, Holoworld's attempt may become a new benchmark in the industry, leading the future development direction of AI project governance mechanisms.
