Hello to all digital miners! Today I want to share my personal experience with apps to mine cryptocurrencies using my phone. It's a crazy thing that works!
For a while now, I've been obsessed with the idea of making the most of my smartphone while I sleep or watch Netflix. Why not make it work for me? After trying dozens of applications ( and almost frying my battery ), I found the ones that are truly worth it.
1. CryptoTab
It was my first app and it is still my favorite. I installed it, activated the mining, and voilà! My phone started generating BTC while I did nothing. The best part is the referral system - I got three friends to join and now I earn a little extra from what they mine. Although let's be honest, you won't get rich, but something is better than nothing.
2. The app of the great exchange
This seems a bit like a scam to me because it's not really mobile mining, but rather you buy hash power in their pools. The performance is better than mining directly, but you lose the charm of using your own device. They also offer cloud contracts, although I personally prefer direct control.
3. StormGain
I loved this app at first - nice interface and it allows you to mine while doing small tasks. But it drove me crazy having to restart it every 4 hours. Who wants to wake up in the middle of the night to press the button! Even so, if you're disciplined, it works quite well.
4. NiceHash
This is for those of you who are already hooked! Their profitability calculator saved me from stupid investments. The security is good, although I activated two-factor authentication because I'm paranoid about my cryptos. I don't trust anyone since I got hacked in 2021.
5. Bitdeer
With this you can mine several cryptocurrencies, which I love for diversification. The plans are variable depending on how much you want to invest. However, it is more oriented towards experienced users - when I started with it I felt a little lost.
Is it worth it?
There are days when I think it's a waste of time and battery. The competition is brutal, and being 8 hours a day watching my phone burn out is not exactly my idea of fun. Moreover, there are so many scams that it's scary...
But other times, when I see those little satoshis accumulating, I feel like I'm participating in the financial revolution from my couch. And who knows, maybe one of the coins I'm mining will skyrocket like what happened with Dogecoin.
The easiest cryptos to mine from mobile are Monero, Dogecoin, Vertcoin, and Ravencoin. I started with Monero because it consumes fewer resources.
How long does it take to mine 1 full Bitcoin from a mobile phone? Well, probably less than the age of the universe, but more than your life expectancy 😂 Without specialized equipment, it is practically impossible.
Do you also mine from your mobile? What applications do you use? Tell me about your experience! And if you liked it, give me a like and follow me for more content about the crypto world 😉
