Don't remind me again today

Want to truly understand a blockchain project? Just reading the introduction is not enough; you have to try it out yourself to get a feel for it.

Recently, I experienced a quite interesting testnet, and the whole process was actually quite smooth:

First, set up your wallet, then go to claim test coins (that's the Faucet feature), and then you can freely experiment in the Playground—whether it's transferring directly using the wallet or trying out their decentralized applications, you can quickly get a grasp of how this ecosystem works.

To be honest, after hands-on operation, there will be a more intuitive understanding of the project's technical route and user experience. After all, knowledge gained from paper is always shallow, and the testnet is the best training ground.

Playing around on the Testnet does show some clues, but the faucet experience of most projects is really poor, which is annoying.

Really, just talking about it is not enough; you have to try it yourself to understand what’s going on.

The testnet is really a must-play; who believes in the rhetoric of the White Paper just by looking at it? --- The moment I received coins from the faucet, I knew this team wasn't that bad. --- Some projects have a testnet experience that is explosively bad, but this one is quite good. --- For projects with smooth wallet transfers and interactive applications, is the probability of launching on the Mainnet higher? --- Talking about it on paper is such a waste of time; you only know where the traps are by playing directly. --- A good testnet does not equal making money on the Mainnet; don't be fooled, everyone. --- I agree; if I hadn't tried it myself, I would never know what this ecosystem is like. --- I'm just afraid that if the testnet is smooth, all sorts of issues will arise once the Mainnet is launched.

You're right, it's meaningless to just talk about it on paper; you really have to dive in and play around to understand what's going on. Did you finish the Testnet experience without any pitfalls? Last time, I was almost stuck by the interaction. Getting test coins for free from the Faucet is really a huge benefit, no need to use real money to make mistakes. This is the correct way to learn; it's more useful than reading a thousand White Papers. Wallet, transfer, applications, going through the process gives you a clear understanding, it’s that simple. I really dislike those projects that only boast but can’t deliver; having a Testnet is reliable. Before dawn, there always has to be a test field; this idea is not a bad one.

Really, just looking at the White Paper is useless; you have to play with it yourself to understand.
