I watched the entire AMA last night. To be honest, the content was clear and definitely clarified the key points from the past few days!
There are many external debates, but they are all stuck on one issue!
> What exactly is avoiding the conversion?
They said it’s not market fluctuations, but someone is conducting a leveraged attack on the mechanism design: short selling, concentrated conversion, and a liquidity crunch are all connected. Once this is established, the pause is not an emotional operation, but rather a way to cut off the attack path. You may question the slow response, but at least this matter has been clarified.
> The second key point is the direction of the reconstruction of the Conversion mechanism. I think this part is the most worth listening to in the entire AMA:
Daily limit, single transaction limit, dynamic curve, and conversions must enter the staking system. In simple terms, it means changing the previous structure that could be overwhelmed by a one-time impact into a more stable release method.
This represents that the project party is willing to acknowledge the flaws in the original model, which is a good thing. Many protocols tend to defend themselves first after an incident, and this time it is relatively rare to see such a direct approach.
> Thirdly, there is still no clear plan for the handling of secondary market users. This will continue to be discussed, but at least the team is not pretending to be oblivious; they have publicly stated that they are collecting data and will post it on the governance forum, which is better than complete silence.
> The last is emotion!
After the AMA, there are still people continuously playing River4FUN on the leaderboard, and new addresses are coming in. The market as a whole is still observing, but it's not the kind of situation where everyone disperses at once.

My feelings?
River has indeed exposed a vulnerability in the mechanism this time, and it has certainly faced the harshest backlash. However, the AMA at least brought things back from a state of information chaos to one where the issues are clear and the direction is defined.
Next, we will see the implementation quality of Conversion 2.0. That is the key to whether this project can continue to move forward! I feel that everything is progressing in a positive direction!
