Maybe money can't buy happiness, but it protects against misery.

The study discusses two points:
1- Daily happiness (your actual feelings: joy, tension, anxiety)
2- Life evaluation (your overall judgment: Is my life good or not?). Confusing these two is a major cause of the question: Does money bring happiness?

The first result:
The more income increases, the more you feel your life is better as an overall assessment. This feeling continues to rise even with very high incomes, with no clear ceiling.

So, daily happiness?
Positive emotions improve with income and tension decreases, up to approximately $75,000 annually, after which it makes no difference! (see the chart below) and because after a certain income level, money doesn't increase your happy days, nor does it reduce your daily stress or anxiety.$GT
