A leading exchange's market-making incentive program recently announced detailed point rules. Want to score high and earn airdropped tokens? The key is understanding how this mechanism works.

The most interesting part is — even if your orders are not filled, you can still accumulate points. After a trade is executed, these points are converted into trading points, which continue to contribute to your final earnings.

The project adopts a tiered system (Band A/B/C), with a simple core logic: the closer your order price is to the market mid-price, the higher the point multiplier you receive. This design encourages traders to provide genuine deep liquidity rather than placing random orders.

To score high, there are three main points: First, the order amount should be large enough; second, the order duration should be long; third, the price should be set at an appropriate level (Band A can achieve a 100% multiplier). Meeting these three conditions opens up the earning potential.

Can you accumulate points even if your order doesn't get filled? I think I've seen this trick somewhere... It's another seemingly win-win but actually carefully crafted wool pull scheme. The amount of funds and patience required for CardBand A, the real profit still comes from the exchange itself.

Can you earn points even if your order doesn't get filled? This trick somehow feels like a variation of cutting leeks... Band A sounds intimidating, but there aren't many who can actually reach that level, right?

Can pending orders that don't execute still earn points? This logic is pretty interesting, it feels like encouraging you to firmly hold onto liquidity positions—truly a market-making game.

Can placing orders without executing them also earn points? This trick is pretty clever, and it feels way more fun than those previous incentives.
