The Walrus protocol recently launched the Quilt bulk storage solution, which has sparked a wave in the NFT and AI fields. The core concept of this solution is to package up to 660 small files into a single storage unit. It sounds simple, but the cost optimization is significant—storing a 10KB file is directly reduced by 420 times, and a 100KB file by 106 times. The gas costs on the SUI chain have also decreased accordingly.

The key is that Quilt does not sacrifice flexibility; each file still maintains independent access permissions and can be quickly retrieved without unpacking. This is a real boon for scenarios like NFT metadata storage and AI data communication. Some projects are already benefiting—Tusky, a decentralized storage platform, has reduced operational costs by 60% under high access volumes through Quilt-optimized small file management; Gata AI infrastructure uses it to solve upload bottlenecks for AI training datasets. The $WAL token, serving as the payment and staking foundation for this solution, continues to gain practical value as applications are implemented.

420x cost reduction? Bro, this isn't storage optimization; it's the final setup before harvesting. I just want to ask, with Tusky's 60% cost reduction, is it possible that they just changed the way they charge? On-chain data doesn't lie, but can the staking yield of $WAL be trusted to be honest?

Cutting costs by 420 times? Is this number serious, or is it just another trick of "paper gains"... But seeing Tusky and Gata AI already using it, it seems there might actually be something there. Can $WAL really take off this time? The key still depends on whether the ecosystem can keep up.

Bro, 420x? That number made me numb. It feels like Quilt really hit the nail on the head with this one. --- The cost of small files is directly halved. Why does it seem way more reliable than the last "revolutionary plan"? --- Tusky and Gata are both using it. Looks like it's not just talk—some people are actually getting benefits. --- Can $WAL rise this time? It feels different once it’s actually in practical use. --- Packing 660 files without losing flexibility? How did they do that? The technical details are pretty impressive. --- Haha, it's another story of halving Gas fees. It’s hard for SUI chain not to become popular. --- Basically, storage costs have been significantly reduced, but will WAL also skyrocket? --- Regarding the upload bottleneck for AI datasets, can Gata really solve this? Curiosity is piqued.

420x cost reduction? Damn, that's a bit outrageous. I need to run the numbers myself to believe it.

420x cost bargaining? That number is so outrageous I hardly believe it. You have to actually test it out to know how much of it is real.

Cut down to 420 times the cost... This number is so outrageous that I can't believe it. I need to see real project data before I can believe it.

420x cost optimization? It sounds exaggerated, but when you think about it carefully, it's actually feasible. The technique of small file bundling should have been thought of a long time ago.

420x cost reduction, this number is a bit outrageous... Can it really be this impressive? --- Small file storage has always been a pain point, and Quilt's approach really hits the spot. --- Wait, did Tusky really drop 60%? Then we need to follow up quickly. --- But how long can this $WAL token last? Still depends on the implementation. --- Not sacrificing flexibility is pretty good; otherwise, it would be a bit of a chicken and egg situation. --- Finally, someone has solved the bottleneck in AI dataset uploads. It's time for SUI to take off. --- 420x... Why do I feel like this was exaggerated? Is there something I didn't understand in the details? --- I've long said that the Walrus protocol has potential, and now it's finally showing its true colors. --- Is Gata really in use? Is there data to support this, or is it just market hype? --- How are the staking rewards for $WAL? That's the key, everyone.
