I recently saw a whale open a $13M short position, while the longs only held $1.8M in positions, the gap is indeed significant. Interestingly, once good news appears, it’s very likely aimed at these big shorts—this kind of manipulation is not uncommon.

My observation is that following the institutional big players in opening shorts can indeed help catch a lot of profits. I suggest that beginners can try this approach with small positions to get a feel for the rhythm. I myself have positions on both sides, but given the current pattern, the bulls should consider taking profits.

To put it simply, the shorts have been set up; the sudden price surge is probably aimed at blowing up this whale. I’ve seen similar situations before, where the long-short ratio jumps from 1:1 to 1:10—familiar tactics.

Whale short positions are so aggressive, are they really just waiting for a pump to hard eat? This tactic has been played for years and is still so ruthless. Take profit early! 13M short positions, it really feels like someone is laying a trap. In an extreme situation like a 1:10 long-to-short ratio, it looks exciting... Be careful not to become a leek. It's fun to follow the main force and short to eat the meat, but I'm worried about a sudden reverse attack.

13M to 1.8M, this ratio is quite outrageous. Usually, when you see such an imbalance, you should be alert. With such heavy short positions, the possibility of a rally is indeed high, but don't be fooled. I've seen too many "whale explosion" tricks like this. Sometimes following the trend can be profitable, but if you catch the opposite move, you'll get wiped out. It's better to keep some cash on hand. The advice to take profits in a bullish trend is reliable. Don't be greedy; securing profits is the hard truth. I also remember the previous 1 to 10 case. When it started to rise, a wave of long positions was cut. Now, who dares to say the pattern is 100% correct?

It's the same old trick again, 13M short positions against 1.8M long positions. This is definitely a big trap. Just wait and see how they reverse and smash this whale when positive news appears. So familiar.

Uh, this is another classic market manipulation move, with 13M short positions against 1.8M long positions... it seems someone is about to get liquidated.

13 to 1.8, this gap... feels like something's going to happen --- It's the same trick again, I've seen it too many times haha --- It's okay for a newbie like Xiao Cang to try, just don't go all-in --- Waiting to see how this whale gets blown up --- Long positions taking profits is correct, it's indeed dangerous now --- Institutions are becoming more and more skilled with this tactic --- It's common for short positions to be set up in a trap

13M short positions against 1.8M long positions, the gap is really exaggerated, usually a common tactic. If whales are so aggressive, there's a high chance it's a trap, waiting to suddenly pump and blow it up. Following the trend to short is profitable, but the rhythm must be controlled well, and don't get caught off guard and cut. Brothers holding long positions should consider running away; this pattern doesn't look quite right. I've seen this setup before, where the long-short ratio multiplies by 10, that's just how the market operates. Beginners really shouldn't be too greedy; feeling out small positions is enough.
