People’s Finance News, 31 March, for further standardizing the management of compulsory product certification (CCC certification) institutions and laboratories, and to ensure consistent and strict implementation of the compulsory product certification system, the State Administration for Market Regulation has organized the drafting of the 《Administrative Measures for the Management of Compulsory Product Certification Institutions and Laboratories (Draft Revision for Comment)》 and its explanations, and is now publicly soliciting comments from the public. The revision content of the Measures includes raising the entry threshold and optimizing designated conditions and procedures. By setting more stringent standards for institutional entry, the work experience requirement for designated institutions has been adjusted from “2 years or 20 certificates” to “2 years and 20 certificates”. The review period for records of misconduct has been extended from the 6 months prior to the application to 1 year, thereby improving the professional capability and compliance level of designated institutions from the source. Optimizing the designated procedures, deleting expressions that lack practical applicability, and clarifying that the time for soliciting comments does not count toward the processing time limit.
