Mars Finance news: On April 1, for the week from March 27, the EIA crude oil inventories in the U.S. were 5.451 million barrels, versus expectations of 0.814 million barrels and a prior reading of 6.926 million barrels. For the week from March 27, the EIA strategic petroleum reserves inventories in the U.S. were -0.378 million barrels, with a prior value of 0 million barrels. For the week from March 27, the EIA strategic petroleum reserves inventory drop recorded the largest decline since the week of July 7, 2023. Excluding strategic reserves, commercial crude oil inventories were at the highest level since the week of June 16, 2023. (Jin10)
