According to reports, Morgan Creek Capital founder Mark Yusko shared his views on the cryptocurrency market and presented a comprehensive outlook for 2025 in an interview. Despite the hype about the possibility of the United States adopting Bitcoin as a strategic reserve, Yusko still believes in the four-year cycle theory of Bitcoin. He predicts that after Bitcoin reaches a reasonable valuation of around $100,000, its price will experience a sharp increase, and by mid-2025, it could rise between $120,000 and $150,000. However, he also warns that before the end of 2025, the market may fall into a bearish market. He pointed out: "In mid-2025, we will see another round of bearish market beginning."
Regarding Ethereum (ETH), Yusko expressed doubt about its long-term dominance. While the approval of a spot Ethereum ETF in 2024 is a significant milestone, Yusko questions Ethereum's competitive advantage. He asks, "If Ethereum didn't exist but was discovered today, would people still choose to use it?" With platforms like Solana and Avalanche.
