At this point, Trump-backed DeFi project World Liberty Financial's co-founder Zach Witkoff's X account was hacked.
Hacker hacked Zach Witkoff's X account and then introduced a fake memecoin named BARRON related to Trump's youngest son Barron Trump. The hacker went even further, claiming that Trump would soon verify the legitimacy of the token.
The fake memecoin named BARRON rapidly rose after this fake sharing, but its collapse was also very fast.
The hacking incident was confirmed by the WLFI X account, while the team told users not to pay attention to fake posts.
