Recently, a rather interesting project called BOB was launched on a certain platform.
In simple terms, it is a Layer 2 network built on Bitcoin, aimed at enabling Bitcoin to also participate in DeFi, running smart contracts like Ethereum. I tried their testnet and found it quite user-friendly; I completed the whole process from receiving test coins to cross-chain operations in just a few minutes.
The core of BOB is to combine the security of Bitcoin with the EVM of Ethereum.
