Trump: If we lose the tariff case, the United States may fall into the status of a "third world" country.

On November 3, U.S. President Trump stated, "The tariff case next week is one of the most important cases in American history. If the President is not allowed to use tariffs, we will be at a significant disadvantage in competition with all other countries in the world, especially 'major countries.' Our recent successful negotiations with many other countries have placed us in a favorable position, simply because we have tariffs to negotiate fair and sustainable protocols. If the President cannot use the power of tariffs quickly and flexibly, we will be defenseless, which could even lead to the destruction of our country. I will not attend the Supreme Court's tariff debate on Wednesday, as I do not want to distract people from the importance of this decision. In my view, this will be one of the most important and significant decisions made by the U.S. Supreme Court. If we win, we will become the richest and safest country in the world. If we lose, our country could fall to nearly third-world status. ( Jin10 ).
