The Argentine Chamber of Deputies has established a special committee to investigate President Milei's involvement in the LIBRA encryption coin incident.
According to the Gate.io News bot, Decrypt reported that Argentina’s Chamber of Deputies decided to establish a special committee to investigate the LIBRA encryption coin incident involving President Milei, with a voting result of 128 votes in favor and 93 votes against this Tuesday.
The committee plans to summon senior government officials such as Minister of Economy Luis Caputo and Minister of Justice Mariano Cúneo Libarona to investigate the collapse of the Solana chain meme coin LIBRA promoted by Milei in February.
Currently, in addition to the congressional investigation, this matter has entered the judicial investigation process, and a law firm in New York has begun soliciting investors to participate in the lawsuit.
