Trump officially announces the "Gold Dome" defense plan: Allocating $25 billion to be put into use before the end of his term.
On May 21, Jin10 reported that U.S. President Trump announced the Gold Dome Defense System. Trump stated that the dome should be operational before the end of his term. A design plan has been selected for the system, which will include space-based interceptors. Canada has also expressed interest in joining the “Gold Dome” defense system. The U.S. helped Israel establish their system, which is more advanced than Israel’s. Trump also mentioned that the Congressional bill will include $25 billion for the Gold Dome system, bringing the total budget to $175 billion.
