On the same day, Hun Sen, chairman of Cambodia’s ruling People’s Party and chairman of the Senate, also said that it was necessary to adjust the military forces in the conflict zone. In a social media post, Petuntan said that after discussions with the Cambodian side, the two sides agreed to adjust the deployment of troops at the disputed location to reduce the atmosphere of confrontation. The two sides have maintained communication at all levels and worked hard to bring bilateral relations back to normal at an early date. Hun Sen posted on social media on the 8th that in order to avoid large-scale conflicts, it is necessary to adjust the military forces in the Cambodian-Thai conflict area.
