According to a report by Cointelegraph on November 26, in an interview with Michael van de Poppe, the founder of MN Capital, Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, stated that Decentralized Finance (DeFi) has currently completed about 30% of the large-scale adoption process and is expected to reach a global adoption rate of 100% by 2030.
Nazarov pointed out that when regulatory frameworks become clearer and can explain the reliability of DeFi, the global adoption rate will reach 50%; when institutional users have a clear and efficient path to invest funds into DeFi, the adoption rate will reach 70%; and when the capital base of DeFi can be meaningfully compared with traditional financial capital allocation, a 100% adoption rate will be achieved.
