Decentralization secret management service Seal launched on Sui Testnet

Odaily News Mysten Labs announced that a decentralized secret management (DSM) service Seal is now live on the Sui Testnet. Seal provides on-chain access control and threshold encryption, aimed at solving security issues related to data encrypted storage, private messaging, and content access for Web3 applications. It offers developers a decentralized, flexible, and application-compatible security solution. The features of Seal include on-chain access control implemented through Move smart contracts and threshold encryption that eliminates single points of failure, supporting various application scenarios such as content encryption, game logic, and Web3 messaging, ensuring that Web3 applications can better protect user data and avoid reliance on centralized key management.
