Egypt's Foreign Minister is conducting intensive consultations with longer on the Iran nuclear issue.
On October 19, Jin10 reported that on the 18th local time, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi, and U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Barbara Leaf to discuss the follow-up on the progress of the Iranian nuclear issue. Shoukry stated that all parties must continue to work to ease tensions, build mutual trust, and create conditions for the resumption of negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue that takes into account the interests of all parties and contributes to regional security and stability. All parties agreed to maintain contact and follow up in hopes of making breakthroughs on this issue.
