South Korean presidential security team: Public Affairs Office illegally enters the presidential residence, will be held accountable for its legal responsibility

Golden Ten Data on January 3, local time on January 3, South Korea’s Presidential Security Department said that the Senior Public Officials Crime Investigation Office (Public Investigation Office) trespassed into the presidential residence without legal basis and will be investigated for legal responsibility. On the morning of the 3rd, the South Korean Public Investigation Office entered the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and began to execute the arrest warrant for Yoon Suk-yeol. The “Joint Investigation Headquarters” issued a statement in the afternoon of the same day, saying that due to the ongoing standoff, it was judged that the arrest warrant could not be executed at the moment, and the arrest was suspended at around 13:30 local time for the safety of the people at the scene. The Joint Investigation Headquarters was jointly established by the Korean National Police Agency, the Public Investigation Office, and the Ministry of National Defense.
