Crypto Assets Market Dynamics and Regulatory Developments

Regulation and Macroeconomic Environment

The New Zealand government is advancing reforms to the anti-money laundering system, which will ban Crypto Assets ATMs and restrict international cash transfers. Deputy Minister of Justice Nicole McKee stated that the government will expand enforcement powers, collect more financial data, and engage in consultations on funding for the system. The reforms aim to combat the flow of criminal funds while ensuring legitimate electronic transfers.

The scale of U.S. Treasury bonds has reached a historic high of $36.58 trillion. The four major stablecoin issuers collectively hold about $182 billion in Treasury bonds, ranking 17th in the world. Among them, Tether holds the most, amounting to $125 billion.

A well-known stablecoin issuer has a secret vault in Switzerland, storing $8 billion worth of gold. The company claims to hold nearly 80 tons of gold, making it one of the largest holders of gold in the world, apart from banks and nations.

Market Opinion

Analysis suggests that a certain trading platform's token sale plan is facing challenges. The platform claims to sell 150 billion tokens to raise $600 million, but it has faced criticism. Analysts point out that refinancing $600 million after already raising $700 million may give a negative impression. There are views that as market enthusiasm declines, the demand for this move may fall short of expectations.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission appears to be on the verge of approving multiple spot Crypto Assets ETFs and is considering a framework that could expedite the listing process. Analysts expect that after the Bitcoin ETF, the approval probability for other asset ETFs is also very high. Project Progress

A well-known public chain is undergoing an important upgrade. This upgrade will start on July 10 and involves a comprehensive update of the consensus layer, expected to reduce the final confirmation time for transactions to about 5 seconds. This is the most technically complex update for the network since its launch in 2020.

A certain Web3 wallet has launched perpetual contract trading features, supported by a decentralized trading platform. This service is initially aimed at EU users, offering up to 40x leverage and stop-loss and take-profit functions. A certain institution/whale has been active recently, transferring about 17,283 Bitcoins worth $1.88 billion within 24 hours. Another institution withdrew 34,883 Ethereum from exchanges within a week, valued at $8.945 million.

The trading volume of Solana futures on a certain established derivatives exchange has surpassed $4 billion.

The AI-driven Crypto Assets trading platform has completed a $3.38 million seed round financing, led by a large Crypto Assets company. The platform uses proprietary technology to achieve automated market making, sentiment analysis, and trade execution.

Many listed companies are increasing their investments in Bitcoin. A Japanese clothing chain plans to invest 1.7 billion yen to purchase Bitcoin. A certain media company raised 8 million dollars to launch an Ethereum fund management strategy. A Swedish company has additionally raised 54 million dollars to advance its Bitcoin reserve strategy.

A blockchain company plans to raise $100 million next year to acquire Ethereum, maximizing capital efficiency through innovative financing models.
