The impeachment case against Yoon Suk-yeol will be ruled, and the acting president of South Korea says he will do his utmost to maintain public order.
On April 2, Jin10 reported that South Korea's acting president Han De-soo stated on April 2 regarding the Constitutional Court's ruling on the impeachment case against President Yoon Suk-yeol on April 4 that all police and administrative forces will be mobilized to prevent any unexpected incidents. Han De-soo said during a meeting of security-related ministers that they will deploy mobile forces widely to respond to emergencies, centered around the Constitutional Court. "I hope the police will strengthen the safety protection of the Constitutional Court judges and be fully prepared to maintain the safety of major facilities such as the Constitutional Court and diplomatic facilities. The government will never allow any illegal or violent behavior." Han De-soo also stated that any decision made by the Constitutional Court must be accepted and urged politicians "not to make statements that provoke or incite illegal demonstrations and violence."
