On August 23, Jin10 reported that former Sri Lankan President Wickremesinghe was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department on the 22nd and has been ordered to be detained by the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court. Wickremesinghe was brought to court on the same day and was ordered to be held until August 26.
