One of the Biggest Fraud Projects in Crypto History: Fil.
Yesterday a buddy told me to short Fil, saying it would go to zero. I checked and found this thing has already dropped below 1 dollar—I don't want to touch it at that price.
From over 200 down to 8-9 cents, a drop of over 99.5%—truly one of the biggest fraud projects in history.
I have a friend who holds hundreds of thousands of Fil—one of the earliest Fil miners and mining pool operators. When it was over 8 dollars last year, he said if Fil reached 100, he'd be financially free. Now I'm too embarrassed to even ask him about it.
What I dislike the most is that FIL can have unlimited issuance without a capped total supply (currently around 2 billion total, with circulation under 800 million). Even if future applications are implemented well, the whales can still increase issuance. So the price will oscillate around $0.4 or $0.5, allowing whales to keep harvesting profits. Whether there's a major surge or you're trapped in positions with huge, massive, enormous amounts of old and new retail investors, it's time to wake up. Whales will never pump the price to help you break even. To pump a position this large, they would need tens of billions of real money to move it, so it's impossible for them to pump.
